It’s less than 100 days to go to the most eagerly anticipated outdoor concert of the year, Féile Classical. You’ve gotten the gang back together, to see the bands who are back together, all destined for Thurles - the original music town of the nineties - for a weekend of song, dance and craic to those stomping 90s anthems.

Féile Classical organisers have been busy putting together an entire weekend of festival entertainment throughout the town of Thurles, along with three types of Glamping options in the Thurles Racecourse Eco-Glamping Village and official bus routes.

First up, Big Top at Semple Stadium, giving you more bang for your Féile Classical ticket! Flanking Semple Stadium, the Big Top will be the place to be for daytime entertainment, on Friday 90s legends The Pale will be headlining, and Saturday sees Johnny Fean (Horslips) take to the stage. Whether you’re arriving in Thurles early or have planned to make a stomping weekend of it, Big Top at Semple Stadium along with other official Thurles venues, will have so much to offer you may never want to leave!

After working closely with Tipperary County Council and An Garda Siochana to provide an accommodation solution that will work for both the powers-that-be and the concert-goers, the Thurles Racecourse Eco-Glamping Village is now ready to take bookings.

The site has a leave-no-trace eco-policy and all three glampsites will feature pre-pitched tents manned by professional glamping companies, whose main objective is the safety of the glampers and the environment that homes the glampsite.

All amenities will be provided, clean toilet and shower facilities and the fantastic Tipperary Festival Foods Pop-Up, supplying amazing food options for glampers – the fun will begin as soon as you want it to!

The three tiers of Glamping accommodation goes a little something like this:

Site One: Gold Level Glamping in association with Hearthworks.

Choose from 3 sizes of pre-pitched Tipis and 3 sizes of Yurts, catering from 2 to 9 people.

The Gold Glampsite offers the highest level of luxury at the Glamping Village. This site is located closest to the Stadium and Car Park, with ease of access to the hot showers and the Tipperary Festival Foods Pop-Up serving mouth-watering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each booking will receive Prosecco and Strawberries awaiting on arrival, and acoustic performances by surprise Féile Classical artists during the day!

Site Two: Silver Glampsite in association with Yippee Tents

Choose from pre-pitched standard and/or luxury Bell Tents, catering from 2 to 6 people

For those who like to put the glamorous in camping, the Silver Glampsite is luxurious, but a level down from the crème de la crème of the Gold experience. Silver Glampers have close access to the Stadium and Car Park, toilets and hot showers, along with the Tipperary Festival Foods Pop-Up, where they can enjoy some amazing fare before hitting the action of Thurles town.

Jump in the booth, say your bit and enjoy the notoriety afterwards, no Snapchat filters, no social media follow up, no YouTube clips, just you on the Féile Classical giving your shout-out to the masses in Semple Stadium.

Details of the Féile Classical Tribal Revial Pop-Up Music Trail and the Tribal Tent Sport & Music Discussions line-ups will be announced in the coming weeks.
